The hormone, hair loss connection
Your thyroid produces hormones needed by every single cell in your body. Several of these hormones, (TSH, FT4, FT3, and RTS) play a critical role in the health of your hair.

Amino acids are building blocks for many of these hormones. If your stomach is not properly breaking down the protein you consume into its amino acid components. The end result can be hair loss from hormone imbalance.
